This vintage modern table design is loosely translated from an antique Deco patterned shagreen table. The tabletop is crafted from American walnut, slightly inset from a newly designed book-matched walnut veneer base. O’Brien was inspired by Art Deco jewelry as well as angular architectural profiles of the Deco period in the design of the table’s custom-made, very large, antiqued brass feet. This design has also been proportioned as a Side Table, with a taller 28-inch height. In particular, for an elegant modernist look, it would be appropriate to use the side tables as a pair. Shown in optional Oxford finish. Also available with a faux shagreen top.
