This is a beautifully structured chair, liberally translated and much enlarged from a petite 1820s Swedish ebonized arm chair. The crescent shape and neoclassical, columned arms of the antique remain, while the original curved wood back is replaced with a panel of elegant button-tufted upholstery. Like the Madison chair from Thomas O’Brien’s first collection, Teague promises to be a chameleon seating option that will work in the dining room, at the desk, or as an occasional chair in a living room, foyer, or bedroom. The Teague Chair is shown in optional Kohl finish.
