One outstanding example of HF du Pont's collection is a maple chest of drawers, made in Massachusetts between 1790 and 1810. The original chest resides in the Winterthur Museum. This elegant reproduction has a serpentine front that flares out on both sides, ending in fluted pilasters. The overhanging top conforms to the serpentine shape as do the bracket feet. This reproduction is of maple solids features custom reproduction solid brass hardware. Select from dozens of finish options and Customer's Own Hardware.® Bright Brass hardware standard.
